SEO Case Studies in Malaysia: Real Campaigns, Measured Results

Every case study here states the timeframe, the starting point and where the numbers come from: Google Search Console for traffic and rankings, the client’s own GA4 or CRM for leads and conversions. If a result can’t be verified that way, it isn’t on this page.

SEO case study FAQs

How do you measure the results in these SEO case studies?

Every result comes from the client’s own data. Traffic, rankings and visibility come from Google Search Console and our rank tracking. Leads and conversions come from the client’s GA4 or CRM. Each case states the timeframe and the starting point, so you can see what changed and over how long. We leave out any result that can’t be checked against those sources.

Why are some clients anonymised?

Some clients don’t want competitors to know who runs their SEO, and some need internal approval before we can name them. In those cases we describe the client by industry and market, for example “Malaysian hotel group”, and keep the figures exact. When a client approves publication, we add their name.

How long do SEO results take in Malaysia?

Organic traffic usually starts to move within 30 to 90 days of the first fixes going live. Qualified enquiries and revenue typically follow in months 3 to 5. The case studies on this page ran from 6 months to 2 years. Technical recoveries are faster: the hotel group’s impressions came back within days of its rendering fix.

Do you have case studies in my industry?

We’ve worked across 28 industries, and this page shows a selection: car rental, automotive, tech services, logistics, events, hospitality and food. If your industry isn’t here, ask on the first call and we’ll share a comparable account. If we haven’t worked in your category, we’ll tell you that too.

Do your case studies include AI search results?

Yes, where we tracked them. The Magnet Group case reports AI visibility alongside organic sessions, measured as [method, e.g. the share of tracked prompts in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews that mention the brand]. For newer campaigns, we track AI search visibility monthly from the start.

Can I talk to a client from one of these case studies?

In most cases, yes. If the client has agreed to be a reference, we’ll introduce you after the first call. If they haven’t, we’ll walk you through the account using their Search Console data on screen, with their permission.

How do I check if an SEO agency’s case studies are real?

Look for four things:

  • a named client, or a clearly described one
  • a stated timeframe
  • a starting number as well as the end result
  • the data source behind the figures

Be cautious of percentages with no baseline, results with no dates, and screenshots of rank trackers instead of Search Console. Ask the agency to show you the live data on a call.
